Massive Capacity: Features a 75 L tank volume with a 50 kg payload capacity for dry granules. This large size maximizes time spent flying and minimizes refill interruptions.
High-Speed Coverage: Achieves a maximum output of 108 kg per minute, allowing the drone to spread up to 1,500 kg of granules per hour in ideal conditions.
Precision Spreading: Utilizes a spiral-channel spinning disk and enhanced torque for a smooth, uniform spread pattern. The effective spread width is typically around 8 meters.
Smart Monitoring: Integrated weight sensors and a control module provide real-time material monitoring to ensure application accuracy and give timely empty-tank warnings.
Material Versatility: Compatible with dry granules from 0.5 mm to 5 mm in diameter. Includes a quick-swap small flow hopper gate for improved precision in low-flow tasks, such as fine seeding.
How it Works in the Field
The T50’s spreading capabilities are deeply integrated with the drone’s advanced flight technology:
- Advanced Mission Planning: Farmers use the DJI Agriculture app to define field boundaries, select custom spreading templates for various materials, and plan highly accurate flight paths. The app can integrate with maps created by the T50’s built-in UHD mapping camera to enable precise variable-rate application plans.
- Fully Automated Flight: The T50 uses RTK (Real-Time Kinematic) positioning for centimeter-level accuracy. Its advanced obstacle sensing system allows it to navigate autonomously, maintaining a consistent altitude over varying terrain, even on slopes up to $50^\circ$.
- Dynamic Flow Adjustment: Once the application starts, the high-torque motor and spiral-channel spinning disk ensure even granule distribution.
- Real-Time Rate Control: The integrated real-time weighing system continuously provides data back to the control system. This system dynamically adjusts the flow rate to maintain the exact prescribed application rate, significantly reducing waste and ensuring uniform dispersal of nutrients or seeds.
