The T50 Spreading System is engineered for performance and ease of use:
Massive Capacity & Throughput: The system boasts an impressive 75 L maximum tank volume with a 50 kg internal payload capacity for dry granules. This large capacity allows for extended operations with fewer interruptions for refills.
High Flow Rate: With a maximum output of up to 108 kg per minute, the system ensures rapid coverage, enabling the drone to spread up to 1,500 kg of granules per hour under optimal conditions.
Precision Distribution: The system utilizes a spiral-channel spinning disk and enhanced torque to achieve a smooth, uniform spread pattern. The typical effective spread width is around 8 meters (dependent on material and settings).
Smart, Real-Time Monitoring: Integrated weight sensors and a control module monitor the remaining material in the tank in real-time. This smart feature enhances the accuracy of the application rate and provides timely warnings for an empty tank, ensuring consistency from start to finish.
Material Versatility: It is compatible with dry granules ranging from 0.5 mm to 5 mm in diameter. For tasks requiring low flow rates, such as fine seeding, the standard hopper gate can be quickly swapped for a small flow hopper gate for improved precision.
How it Works in the Field
The T50’s spreading capabilities are deeply integrated with the drone’s advanced flight technology:
- Mission Planning: Farmers can use the DJI Agriculture app to define field boundaries, set custom spreading templates for different materials, and plan highly accurate flight paths. The app can even integrate with maps created by the T50’s built-in UHD mapping camera for more precise, variable-rate application plans.
- Automated Flight: The Agras T50 leverages its RTK (Real-Time Kinematic) positioning for centimeter-level accuracy and its obstacle sensing systems to navigate autonomously, maintaining a consistent altitude over varying terrain (up to a 50° slope).
- Controlled Spreading: Once the application begins, the high-torque motor and spiral-channel spinning disk distribute the granules evenly. The real-time weighing system continuously feeds data back to the control system, which dynamically adjusts the flow rate to maintain the exact prescribed application rate, reducing waste and ensuring uniform nutrient or seed dispersal.
